We are glad to announce that we have entered a new team in the Nidderdale Development League from the start of the 2021 season. Known as the Walton Park Warriors, this is a great opportunity for the club to further progress a wider spread of juniors into senior cricket. We have also entered the Whixley Evening League.

A brief history of the club
Walton Park Cricket Club takes it’s name following the 2015 merger of 2 very historic local cricket clubs Walton CC and Wighill Park CC, the latter having been created by Lord Hawke, one of the most colourful characters in the history of Yorkshire cricket. Both clubs began playing cricket over a hundred years ago, with the merged club now playing at its Springs Lane ground in Walton.
